You were a bit wrong in explaining Bessarabia. The Republic of Moldova (Bessarabia) is a region of Moldova that was taken over by the Russian Empire in 1812. The rest of Moldova continued to exist until 1859 when it was united with Wallachia to form Romania. This Bessarabia is a completely different country than Medieval Moldova, a Russian domination while Moldova still exists nearby. The world confuses too much the Republic of Moldova with the Principality of Moldova just because they have the same name even if in English when you refer to the historical region (that of Romania which is historical Moldova) you say Moldavia while the republic after 91 is called Moldova pronounced as in Romanian I will add with the video representation. The flag of the Republic of Moldova is inspired by that of Romania. Historically, the Principality of Moldova did not have a tricolor, only after the unification of the principalities.

hey!! this is really great! i'm from Moldova and i was quite surprised to find this video! - the legend is really known! the national animal may be another species but it is called "bizon" in our language so. - the history part was really good and quite entertaining! (doing a better job than my history teacher..) - we do make A LOT of wine! it actually won a prize at the end of 2022! - Mămăligă, even if it is well... porridge, we usually eat it with cottage cheese or sour cream! - on a similar note, another well-known dish is... cabbage rolls! - the mall is indeed called malldova! its quite a nice mall not gonna lie! reply if you have questions :)
